Delivery Info
The Cake Spa offers nationwide postage, local Lichfield delivery and collection options for most shop items.
FULFILLMENT
Please note that most items are made to order, therefore it may take up to 7 working days to fulfill your order. You will get an email notifying you as soon as your order is fulfilled. If you need the item for a specific date, please feel free to include this information in the notes section, or contact hello@thecakespa.co.uk prior to ordering if you need your items sooner to check if it is possible.
COLLECTION
Pre-arranged collections are available from The Cake Spa on Walsall Road in Lichfield, which are free of charge. Once your order is ready you will receive an email asking for you to get in touch to arrange a collection time. The only exception is Super Saturday & Seasonal collections, where set time slots are sent out the day prior to collection. This is to ensure collections can be conducted contactlessly.
LOCAL DELIVERY
Orders are delivered locally by hand around all of Lichfield City, Streethay, Shenstone, Fradley & Whittington, charged at only £2. Local delivery usually takes place within one to three business days of your order being fulfilled. You will receive an email generally on the morning when deliveries will take place. If you have specific instructions - ie. leave in porch, etc. just pop these in the notes section at checkout.
NATIONWIDE DELIVERY
Postal orders are sent via Royal Mail or courier - please be assured I will send the quickest option for the postage level paid. I do not make any money from postal costs, it is purely the charges made by the shipping companies and the cost of P&P.
Generally the courier items arrive next day, but can take up to three business days.
As soon as your order is fulfilled, you will get an email stating it has been shipped. If you provide a phone number & email address with your order, these will be used to assist the tracking of your order. The courier will provide you with updates regarding your delivery.
Please try and be in to expect your delivery. If you are not, they may leave a card (but do not always) and you will then need to contact them to rearrange the delivery. Please do not delay in doing so as the items are perishable and are best eaten as soon as possible!
The courier parcels tracked so any issues or if they haven't arrive in a couple of days, please just contact us with your order number so I can check the tracking information.
Some orders will be sent signed for via Royal Mail especially if you are in areas such as Scotland, the Isle of Man & Isle of Wight & Northern Ireland due to excessive courier charges. These parcels are not always tracked but should arrive within around two working days. There are currently some delays in the Royal Mail chain and so your package may be affected by this.
